This restaurant was such a pleasant surprise! Every dish was beautifully presented and tasted even better than it looked. The sushi and sashimi were incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, and every bite was delicious. You can really tell they use high-quality ingredients. The omakase-style platter was not only stunning but also offered a great variety. What impressed me the most was the value for the price. The portions were generous, the quality was outstanding, and the prices were very reasonable compared to many other sushi restaurants. The atmosphere was cozy, the presentation was elegant, and the service was friendly and attentive. If you’re looking for fresh sushi at a great price, this place is a hidden gem. Highly recommend, and I’ll definitely be coming back!

My bf and I usually stop by here after the gym - really authentic and fresh food that is a mix of dishes from across China. This is a favorite of mine in midtown for suan cai yu (pickled mustard green fish). Every dish, however, isn’t super oily and actually quite delicate given that it’s a bit more high end. Great wine list and solid new beer selection on draft. Andy was great! Super friendly and very helpful!
One of the best meal we have had this trip to NYC. A touch of elegance while still delivering authentic and heavy flavors. We got the salt baked chicken, which came with a show of cracking it open. Which was fun, while the cumin lamb we ordered delivered the rich umami flavor. The braised claypot rice was quite rich and strong in seasoning, and goes well with refreshing pea shoots. Forgot to get dessert which was unfortunate as they look amazing and vibrant. Definitely, one of the top Chinese restaurants we have been to in NYC. Look forward to come back at some point to try out many other dishes that looked enticing on the menu, and hopefully I won't forget desserts next time.
Had a great experience at Blue Blossom. Everything we ordered was delicious—from the bao platter to the roast duck, which was definitely a standout. The food came out timely, and everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. Shoutout to Hazen, who took great care of us. He was very polite, attentive, and helpful with recommendations, which made the whole experience even better. Overall, really solid spot with great food and even better service. Would definitely come back.
I had a wonderful time at this restaurant, and it is all thanks to the incredible experience. Hazen is the best! From the moment we walked in, his welcoming attitude made us feel right at home. It is rare to find such genuine, warm hospitality these days, and it truly elevated our entire evening. Of course, the food was absolutely delicious. Every dish was packed with flavor, fresh, and perfectly prepared. We will definitely come back because of the combination of Hazen's fantastic service and the tasty food. Highly recommended!
Absolutely loved this restaurant! I felt like every dish was executed so well with perfect flavors. The portion sizes were also adequate and it is the right place to order as many dishes as you want to share with a group. The service was also excellent and I felt like they did everything possible for us to enjoy our dinner. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and will definitely be back!
A great fusion Chinese restaurant offering a variety of regional Chinese cuisines. Shoutout to Hazen for taking great care of us — he did an excellent job hosting our table. We really enjoyed the meal, especially the squirrel fish, mapo tofu with pumpkin, hongshao rou and etc — all were flavorful and well-executed. It was such a nice dinner catching up with friends. Overall, a great spot for both celebrations and for anyone trying Chinese cuisine for the first time. Highly recommend!
This hot stone braised rice was incredible. The rice and mushroom sauce came packed separately, so I mixed everything together at home before eating. The aroma hit immediately. The rice was perfectly cooked—each grain was plump, slightly chewy, and honestly some of the best rice I’ve had in a long time. Every grain was coated in the rich porcini sauce, making it impossible to stop eating. And I’m usually not even a big rice person. There was just a tiny hint of spice (or maybe pepper), but it was perfectly balanced and added a little extra depth without overpowering the dish. The porcini mushrooms were soft, silky, and full of flavor. Even the green peppers and scallions were delicious and added great texture. Absolutely worth trying. I’d recommend this dish to every friend without hesitation.
